Waste Solutions
Where does the grease go?
The used cooking oil collected by Got Grease is turned locally into biodiesel by Bentley Biofuels. Got Grease collects and services our restaurants, then purifies the waste cooking oil so that it can be made into biodiesel at the Bentley Biofuels processing facility. You can learn more at
www.bentlybiofuels.com.
Got Grease has partnered with San Francisco's
Dogpatch Biofuels to offer Bay Area residents a station to fill their cars with our locally collected alternative fuel. Dogpatch customers are literally driving their cars on the oil from the food they eat at their favorite restaurants!
Got Grease has been in operation since 2006 and has brought
over 1 million gallons of biodiesel from the Bay Area! Next time you eat at a restaurant, ask them what they do with their grease...
From the Fryer to the Fuel Tank
Used vegetable oil from your restaurant can be used as fuel if you have a diesel car. The first Diesel vehicle was actually invented to run on vegetable oil! With Got Grease you can be certain that 100% of your waste cooking oil is used as a source of clean burning fuel for diesel cars in your area.
Got Grease simply removes the waste oil then purifies the waste cooking oil so that it can be made into
biodiesel at a local processing facility.
